Research & Development

For TECNOSEED, the seed is the main supply for horticulture. That’s why the company has a qualified technical team which is responsible for carrying out intensive work in Research and Development, making available to the growers, seeds of cultivars and hybrids with physical, genetic, physiological and sanitary quality, being these seeds adapted to the most varied climatic conditions.

In our Research Stations, the TECNOSEED products go through a rigorous selection in order to adequate and choose new cultivars and hybrids. After this selection, the products are tested once more in commercial areas and only after being sure that they are high-quality products, they are made available for sale.

For TECNOSEED, agriculture is an advanced science with a fast development, which requires carefully projected products applied to answer the specific needs of every single grower.

TECNOSEED breeding programs are carried out using the classic improvement methods, followed up by tests in highly reliable laboratories.

Besides its two research stations, located in strategic places in the country, TECNOSEED also relies on partnerships for the development of products in the other regions of Brazil.

The final product is only made available to the farmer after knowing all of its characteristics, observed after a wide number of field tests carried out by all the TECNOSEED technical team in the various regions of Brazil.
